Android Phone Yoga Timer
This little application is a simple countdown timer with a slight variation over the other countdown timers out there. After the time interval completes, the timer starts over again. This allows you to use this for pranayama excercizes that involve a certain number of seconds. Also it is handy for doing yoga Kriyas that involve changing the excercise at an interval. You can set the timer for three minutes and start it, then every three minutes the notification sounds and you know to change the routine. It's a simple application, but I find it useful.
To install this on your phone, download it, and tell the phone to install the application.
Now with patterns for advanced breathing excercises and three specially recorded gong sounds. You can set each of four patterns to a muliplier and the timer will cycle through them. For example if you wish to practice a pranayama that consists of 10 seconds inhalation, holding the breath for 15 seconds exhaling for 10 seconds and suspending the breath for 15 seconds you set the main time to 5 and the patterns to 2, 3, 2, 3 respectively. If you want a pattern of 10, 20, 20, 10 you could set the main time to 10 and the patterns to 1, 2, 2, 1. etc. If you don't wish to have a time for one of the four intervals, set the pattern for that interval to zero.
